Overview
Built in 1908, The Fairmont Empress Hotel is one of Victoria’s most majestic buildings. Our family business has been caring for its slate roof since 1967, the last 34 years as Grist. In 1988, we embarked on a roofing challenge like no other: replacing the 90,000-square-foot slate roof. Year after year, section-by-section, we poured our hearts and souls into installing a roof of the highest quality for this city landmark.
